HR Manager (Standalone) – Leading Start-up Fintech (E-money Institution)

Our client is a market leading fintech and a uniquely positioned fast growing E-money Institution. You will be joining the business at a time where they are aiming to scale their services globally in the next 5 years. This is a fantastic green field opportunity for an experienced and autonomous HR Manager to build the HR Function.

• Design, propose and implement human resources strategies, guidelines and procedures within broad principles and policies to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs.
• Facilitate the business to obtain Tier 2 Visa and UK Worker Visa Sponsorship license.
• Analyse HRIS vendor list in line with business growth and capabilities/scaling - implement chosen system.
• Aligning business documentation and contracts across personnel.
• Assisting the Senior Management team with Recruitment, onboarding, employee starter training etc.
• Reviewing employee benefits and reach out to vendor to create an attractive benefit package.
• Provide insight to corporate guidelines and procedures and manage the administration and implementation within respect to employee training and development programmes, safety and security programs, salary structure, performance appraisals and recognition, and compensation and benefit plans.
• Ensure compliance of the company’s practices with applicable labour legislation and collective labour agreements.
• Secure professional legal support from external legal counsel as required.
• Assist in articulation of the values and culture of the organisation.
• Work with managers to identify human resources problems/issues and provides leadership and support in finding solutions.
• Oversee and ensure the effective running of the local payroll.
• Work together with the senior management team to implement group policies and processes at local level.
• Implement the HR policies within the local departments to ensure the recruitment, training, retention, and motivation of staff.
• Coordinate matters with effect outside own department; and coordinate with and escalate matters to the to the Co-Founders.

Requirements

• Ideally lead and delivered the UK visa sponsorship license for employers.
• Ideally worked for a growing start-up and understand the start-up environment.
• Ideally been in a standalone role previously and expanded the HR function.
• You can work in a fast pace international and multicultural environment.
• You have a university degree in a related field.
• You have a strong business mind and accountability.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
