To provide high level search and headhunting services to capture new global senior sales profiles for CellPoint Digital.
CellPoint Digital provides powerful electronic payment platforms that allow travel firms, airlines, and other sectors to streamline their payment solutions, unite their client experience, enhance their digital revenues and decrease their payment expenses.
The candidate specification was exacting – candidates needed to be multilingual, with experience of global scale technology and a full understanding of digital payments (even a client book) plus a soli strong track record in increasing revenue in their global region. We used our extensive network to find candidates working internationally with the necessary experience but, equally important, with personal characteristics such as the drive and gravitas required to deliver high performance targets within a challenging pandemic environment. Through our understanding of the business and it’s challenges, we were able to create a clear and insight-rich candidate profile and research brief for the search project. Within a relatively short period of time we were able to present an outstanding shortlist of high-calibre Sales Directors and those looking to make the move into the senior VP sales position for the first time. Drawn from around the globe, the shortlist was diverse but had the common underlining characteristic of delivering success in previous roles and in demanding environments.
Such is the nature of the firm and level required, the most suitable candidates were not proactively considering new roles. To combat this challenge, the team took the time to develop a deep understanding of the business, leveraging the values, mission and employee proposition to really sell the opportunity to potential candidates. This method proved very receptive when target professionals were approached and was particularly successful at the more senior level.
The client progressed three candidates to the final stage of their interview process and following this one of these candidates was offered and accepted within six weeks of our taking the initial client brief. Our successful hires have made an immediate impact within the business and are working very closely with the Chief Commercial Officer in delivering the revenues and target clientele required to move the business forward.
The project initially required Market Talent to assist in hiring 3 Senior Sales VP’s across AsiaPac, US and Europe, and these requirement’s evolved as the company released further funding to grow as the pandemic and it’s economic effects started to slow.
