Description

Our client, a high growth leader in payment innovation and gateways is seeking a proven sales and enterprise acquisition expert with a hands on understanding of the eCommerce payment's world, and the various institutions within the ecosystem (Payment Gateways, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Acquirers). The business already serves clients across five continents. For 15 years this brand have evolved and innovated, breathing new energy into sectors that relied on antiquated and legacy payment platforms.

You will be in a individual contributor opportunity leading the European sales function for the business. This will be in a standalone capacity for now
You will engage with company sales colleagues on a weekly basis developing the pipeline (US, Singapore, MEA)
You will be looked at to acquire large cap merchants with card turnover of $1m per month or more and seeing clients through to integration with engineers.
You will be able to develop a Sales Strategy with leadership and execute
You will grow the European Sales team, based on your success.

An ideal candidate will;

  1. Have a proven track record leading complex BD & Sales initiatives, working with a technical and product team to deliver clients.
  2. Previous experience developing leads in a B2B environment and meeting your sales deliverables in a leading and independent capacity.
  3. Have eCommerce payment ecosystem enterprise sales experience
  4. Previous relevant Business Development experience, ideally within the point of payment (POP) sales arena. You might also come from Payment FinTech, acquiring or Point of Sale space.
  5. You should understand the costs associated with accepting traditional credit/debit card payments.
  6. You are interested in a culture built on putting users first, thinking rigorously, working transparently and delivering high quality and high impact work.

*Compensation*

£100,000 - 125,000 basic salary plus bens package
Uncapped commission - sign on fee comm and sliding scale through contract term
£200,000 - £250,000 OTE
