As they continue to expand their presence in the market, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and new Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and expanding the client base within the bridging finance sector. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise and network to develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, property investors, and developers, while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Develop new business opportunities and optimize funding opportunities through an established database of financial intermediaries and property investors.
- Client Service Management: Fully manage funding applications from initial application to completion, ensuring award-winning service levels are maintained throughout the process.
- Market Research: Research and become an industry expert on trends and information, executing plans to develop and maximize market opportunities.
- Network Establishment: Establish and cultivate a network of potential clients, fostering new business opportunities, and managing existing relationships, while frequently presenting marketing materials tailored to the organization's targeted client base.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to execute the company's strategy and achieve revenue targets, fostering a cohesive and efficient working environment.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by aligning solutions with client objectives, maximizing sales opportunities, and effectively communicating value propositions.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the bridging lending sector.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a pre-existing network of brokers, developers, or direct borrowers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
- Professional telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
