Challenges Faced

Rizq approached us coming out of the pandemic as the number of candidates in the market was low, and the number of jobs advertised to those people was high. After obtaining funding they were looking to permanently hire their senior management team to expand the business. The firm had high-velocity growth plans to enable them to plan and maintain a substantial growth trajectory in both the short and long term.

As such, it needed a variety of expert financial leaders who could put their expertise and skillsets to use, accelerating growth in a calculated way. Rizq needed candidates to help it mature and bring in real stability.

Methodology

The Rizq founders heard about Market Talent via their network and tasked us with finding roles, including CEO, Head of HR, Head of Compliance & Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Head of Finance, and Head of Marketing. Each mandate was strategized and executed by the Market Talent team and provided successful long-term talent who made an impact right from the start.

It highlighted to the founders and investors of Rizq how vital an honest and highly pragmatic recruitment partner is to a business in an unusually competitive financial technology marketplace.

We understood that Rizq needed to source the right high-calibre people – and fast. So, we developed a well-defined plan and time frame.

As a principal part of our plan, we conducted screening interviews with potential candidates. Several candidates were chosen for an interview with the HR Manager, who found that all candidates were highly relevant.

After the final interviews, Rizq selected its preferred candidates who had the right skillsets and backgrounds for its requirements. We worked with Rizq to handle the process proficiently, providing insights into the current market and identifying fair salaries for each candidate’s experience level.
