Your responsibilities will include:

  • Continue to develop and sharpen technical expertise, working closely with central team and product manufacturers and third party product partners where appropriate
  • Provide appropriate management information to support and generate growth opportunities
  • Identify and provide feedback from Premier Relationship Managers and clients to product teams in order to continuously improve the products and services
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities and challenges with stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with customers on complex technical subjects

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of insurance, pensions, investments, legacy solutions
  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. local and group compliance regulations
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. financial markets, financial planning
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e.ie Financial Planning Diploma level minimum e.g CII Diploma level 4
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. borker consultant or financial planning
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
  • Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
  • Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
  • Used their business knowledge and understanding of customer needs to successfully manage and grow customer relationships
  • Demonstrated an ability to match products and services with clients’ needs to generate sales in an ethical manner
