Relationship Manager - Corporates

Duties to include:

  • Identify/develop prospective client relationships and originate business 
  • Support the execution of lending products & participations 
  • Develop new products and services
  • Attain relevant information to enhance credit applications 
  • Assess, analyse and interpret financial information.
  • Prepare credit applications and reviews for counterparties, country limits and corporate limits
  • Liaise with other units, on credit applications, credit proposals etc.
  • Keep and monitor company credit exposures within set risk bearing limit
  • Keep knowledge of key issues up-to-date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues).
  • Review and prepare documentation for client on-boarding
  • Prepare monthly MIS for review by ALCO 
  • Improve the overall customer relationship, delivering reliable administrative support and customer service
  • Acknowledge customer promptly and treat them in a courteous manner
  • Find out what information, products or services the customer requires to meet their needs
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of client portfolios/products etc.
  • Resolve customers’ queries within agreed authority
  • Produce file notes after client meetings, summarising any additional actions required, including follow-up calls
  • Sales activity planning, reviewing existing customer files to identify sales opportunities
