Salary: £65,000 - £70,000
I currently have an excellent opportunity for a Credit analyst to join a leading UK based broker. It will be your responsibility to take ownership of the in depth credit analysis of a proportional cross section of the Brokers client base, in conjunction with other credit analysts, to ensure thorough understanding of each client’s business model & financials as well as the impact of macroeconomic events on each client.
Some of the responsibilities include
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of all current and potential clients & counterparties including; Corporates, Financial Institutions, CCP’s & State Owned
- Continual focus on global macro-economic environment with understanding of specific country factors and impact of those factors on the credit risk assessment with regard to clients & counterparties incorporated or operating in those countries
- High levels of interaction with clients, including client visits, as required on both a domestic and international basis
- Act as an advisor and subject matter expert to guide the business for all credit related items and manage the credit facility application/ review process for the allocated client base
To be successful in this role you must have strong and demonstrable understanding of corporate financial statement analysis gained ideally through an investment banking or institutional brokerage background. Experience of reviewing clients that operate in the Commodities sector is also desirable.
In return my client is offering a compensation package of between £50,000 - £65,000 plus excellent benefits and bonus.
