My client, an established and CYSEC liscenced Portfolio Management company, are looking for a Back-Office specialist to join them at an exciting period of business expansion and growth.

Portfolio Management is at the centre of their work - they were originally established to provide asset management services to professional investors, and have continued this path to presently take care of their client's assets in an efficient and personal way. They also deal with Funds and therefore require a competent administrator, operations and back-office individual with knowledge of the financial sector and the duties expected in a challenging yet rewarding permanent role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange settlements (check trade confirmations with Portfolio Manager, liase with Funds' Administrator regarding confirmation and settlement

  • Maintain back-office books and records including trade, payments and securities register, positions and client register

  • Reconcilation with Fund's Administrator and Depository

  • Onboarding new trade counterparts and regular updates of KYC profiles with existing counterparts

  • Regulatory reporting; transaction reporting, EMIR and post-trade transparency

  • Taking part in development of compliance and operational procedures in the part related to the back-office and in implementation of regulatory updates

  • Taking part in internal auditors and compliance regular inspections

  • Regular and ad-hoc reporting to the management

  • Regular reports to the Administrator and Depository of the Fund

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Back-Office position

  • Previous experience in financial sector, particularly Portfolio / Investment / Asset Management or similar

  • Live and happy to work in LIMASSOL
