Prestigious Middle Eastern banking organisation is seeking a graduate profile to join their Private banking team in a customer centric opportunity. The ideal profile will be a recent graduate (ideally from 2020 / 2021 / 2022), have full fluency in the Arabic / Khaleji / GCC dialect and be able to converse comfortably with high net worth customers and VIP's. Please note - the role unfortunately does not offer a hybrid working setup - 5 days per week will be present in the offices.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Maintaining our Sterling and Foreign Currency for private banking customers.
Encashment of cheques and counter debits drawn upon customers’ accounts held in Retail Branches in London.
The encashment of drafts drawn the bank and its overseas Branches.
The acceptance of credits whether cash or cheque to accounts held with Retail Branches in London.
Acceptance from customers to transfer requests, whether internal or external, cheque book issuance.
Purchase and Sale of Foreign Currency notes and Travelers’ Cheques.
Input of the above to the host computer via the Teller Sub-System.
Updating information for Management Info Reporting / Statistical Reporting.
Telephone Queries from customers.
ATM replenishment
Assist with filing and other adhoc duties as and when need be.
Qualification & Experience
Demonstrate a good level of ability in both English and Mathematics.
Demonstrate a good level of ability Arabic (reading, written and fluency in speaking)
PC literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel
